There are no testimonials for this trip as it's a new location, however below are some testimonials for some of our other Single With Kids UK trips:
" First SWK holiday and we had a great time. Andrew hasn’t stopped smiling since meeting his new friend Ophelia and is keen to come on another trip, as am I! Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and the laughs.
" A fantastic time, Rebecca and I made some amazing memories. Wonderful meeting new friends for Rebecca, some great adult time too. Looking forward to getting the next trip booked.
" Really great break and well coordinated by Jo. It’s been lovely spending time with the other families making memories. Great first experience with Single With Kids.
" We had a great time on the Sherwood trip. Loads of activities and well organised. Thank you Mark, Isabelle and Madeleine for all your organising and help. Can’t wait to come back.
" Our first holiday at the Fort. Myself and Alex have had a really good holiday. Cath has been really friendly and helpful as a coordinator. A great holiday.
" The most amazing place where kids have freedom to run about in the woods and vast grounds. Location could not have been better with beautiful hills and walking paths to explore. Fantastic company and Becky did a brilliant job as coordinator. Kids absolutely loved it and so did I.
" This is our third Single With Kids trip and our first UK trip. We have had three wonderful days / nights at the Fort in Wales. Cath is a super star. The group (although some knew each other) were so friendly, welcoming and kind. We have made so many special memories and we can’t wait to book our new SWK adventure.
" From the moment Jude and I arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Such a friendly group of kids and grownups. This was our first SWK trip and we were both a bit nervous but we shouldn’t have been as the atmosphere is lovely and inclusive. Jude has already told me we are coming back next year but for longer.
" 1. Really lovely location. Fab couple of days and well organised by Gillian. Some guests didn’t tidy up after themselves but plenty of people to help.
Hostel could do with someone to come in to clean each day in the communal areas as some very messy guests here.
We’ve had a really lovely time and met some lovely people. The kids adore these holidays.
" Lovely location, many places to visit and plenty of space for children to enjoy their time. Great holiday. "
" Great holiday. Really enjoyed it. Fab location. Gill is a great coordinator. Very friendly and great company. Would definitely come again "
" A great trip in a brilliant location. Gill was a lovely coordinator and we had some great days out. "
" I’ve really enjoyed this trip. Great location with lots of places to visit. Gill has been a great coordinator and organised some good group discounts for the places we have visited! The hostel facilities are good with lots of space for the kids to run around. "
" Another fabulous trip which was excellently coordinated by Gill. The hostel was good with lots of space in the main areas for kids to run around. Love these holidays. Great location. Great trips and fab people, making memories. "
" A brilliant location and coordinator. Lots to do in the area. "
" Really liked Gill as a coordinator. She was friendly, hands on and inclusive. She really made an effort to make the children’s party fun and to make interesting suggestions for the group to do. She listened to parent’s questions and concerns and was patient and responsive. Ironbridge is a fab location and we had a lovely trip. The YHA house was spacious and it was great to have a communal lounge. Overall though an enjoyable trip. "
" I really enjoyed the trip as it was well coordinated and the places we went were exciting and good. Gill was a great coordinator and was very helpful and well organised. Overall I loved the trip and want to do it again. "
" Thank you for organising such a fun weekend and giving us loads of opportunities to bond as a group. It’s been great to see all the kids getting on and letting us mums relax and get to know each other. Lots of laughter and wine – just what we all needed! It has been such a great introduction to SWK and I’m sure we’ll do another holiday as soon as we can "
" Myself and my two children had a fantastic time. This was definitely the best holiday we've had together. Sharing a lodge helped with the workload and everyone got on so well. 10/10 "
" It was one of the best holidays I have ever had, and Jack has already asked me to take him again. Pembroke/Stackpole is a terrific destination with loads to do in the surrounding areas, but everyone is great, and really friendly. The kids all play well together. A lovely bunch of adults and children! "
" Sally (the coordinator) was lovely. She did a great job at making me feel comfortable since it was my first trip. It was nice to get away and let my son just enjoy himself. We had a lovely time and I have already recommended it to my friends. Holiday can be lonely when it’s just you with your child, but this way you get to meet other people and your child can have company and fully enjoy themselves "
" A truly fabulous 'initiation' weekend into SWK! Alfie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to many more SWK holidays, and just hope this weekend is the beginning of many new and exciting journeys! "
" The people were all quite similar so we all got on well. The age range of the kids was good. The accomodation was lovely. It was better than expected. We had an absolute ball. Thanks very much indeed! "
" The location is the highlight; the fort was an amazing location. Dawn was an amazing coordinator, she's a natural leader and organizer and her vast professional experience working with children is obvious as she was brilliant with all the kids. I would definitely be more likely to book another holiday at the fort if I knew that Dawn was going to be the coordinator "
" Absolutely stunning location really felt like we got away from it all, lovely walks planned by coordinator and we all helped out at meal times. Great sized group and cheap break away to recharge our batteries. Will definitely book again "
" My daughter and I loved this break - the accommodation was better than I expected for the price and the group got on really well together. We really enjoyed the walk to the waterfall and for me it was great to spend time with other single parents "
" This is only our second trip with SWK. This time it was with a larger group of people, so we didn't know how it could compare to the last one, but we really enjoyed it. The group size was really good, just a shame we didn't have longer together. The kids liked making new friends & we loved the relaxed atmosphere of the trip & hostel. The hostel staff were helpful and even lent me a hairdryer when mine broke. Kate was friendly and welcoming and made things fun for the kids. We've booked another trip already! "
" Lovely location with great walks on the doorstep. Everyone joined in and it was great to share a room. Days out were the best bits with lovely walks where I had chance to talk to other parents whilst my son happily ran with the other kids. Day out to Llangollen was good too "
" We all had a really great experience. Both the kids and I made good friends. They were always entertained and I enjoyed sharing experiences with the other mums. The accommodation was great for kids and adults, location absolutely amazing with lots to do nearby. Group size felt just right, not too many to feel overwhelmed, and not too few either. "
