Our Cornwall holiday resort is the perfect destination for a family getaway. Our group will be staying in a number of lodges in this resort, which are nestled in the picturesque grounds of a historic manor house, close to all the sights and sounds of beautiful Newquay in Cornwall. With a gym, leisure club and luxury spa, a handful of bars and restaurants and even Pirate Pete’s all-weather play centre for the kids right on the doorstep, there’s something for everyone.

We’ll be staying at a fun, family resort close to Newquay, one of the UK’s most popular holiday destinations. Some of the best beaches in Cornwall can be found nearby, and the resort also offers the perfect base from which to explore the area. From surfing and coastal walks to theme parks and even the world-famous Eden Project, you won’t be short of things to do!

The resort itself offers plenty of activities for the whole family! Set in around 45 acres, the resort has 230 holiday homes and facilities for guests including, whether you want to unwind in the luxurious Indigo Spa, complete with relaxing hydrotherapy pool, or try your hand at a spot of golf or tennis before a delicious meal at the Old Manor Bar and Restaurant. Especially for the kids, there’s Pirate Pete’s soft play centre, which has its own dedicated toddler area, as well as a large adventure playground and a lively Kid’s Club. There is an  arcade, adventure trail, tennis courts and lots of green space.

Rob and George 11 - (Cornwall 2018)

" Lovely people. Well done Alison. 10/10 and gold star for Jamie. We had a great time over the last few days mainly because the kids had a readymade gang. All in all though a great holiday. "

Rachel and Freddie 1 - (Cornwall 2018)

" This was our first trip away with SWK. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and we soon felt at ease. Freddie and I really enjoyed out trip to St Michaels Mount and we had a lovely day with the rest of the group.
Our hosts Alison and Jamie were great and so helpful. Freddie thought Jamie was brilliant. Looking forward to our next trip. Thank you. "

Claire and Amelia 5 - (Cornwall 2018)

" This was our second SWK holiday at Atlantic Reach and again it surpassed our expectations. We have made wonderful friends and thoroughly enjoyed our trips out round Cornwall. Hosts Alison and Jamie have been great. Amelia is now officially a member of the Jamie fan club. We had a few days out with the rest of the group and particularly enjoyed the day at Treyarnon Bay. St Michaels Mount was also a fab day out. Amelia and I have loved our holiday. We will be back. "

Nate & Teddy 1 - (Cornwall Resort 2016)

" Its a nice atmosphere where you can meet parents in a similar situation. On Sunny Sunday we spent the morning at the beach. My son spent several hours covering himself in sand. It was Amazing! "

William & Ethan 6 - (Cornwall Resort 2016)

" It's brilliant. Safe for kids who make loads of friends and allows parents adult time without angst. The group activities are also great. "

Tracey & Lily 6 - (Cornwall Resort 2016)

" Its brilliant as everyone has something in common we are all single with kids, kids get on easily with other kids and parents get to talk, spend time with a socialise with other adults. It was my first time in Cornwall as an adult and I thought it was lovely, I normally go abroad but would definitely return here instead of a holiday abroad. Highlight was seeing my child happy having fun with the other kids. "

Stuart & Toby 8 - (Cornwall Resort 2016)

" There is something for both parents and children to do. My son enjoyed getting to know other children of the same age. "

Andy & Katherine 6 - (Cornwall Resort 2016)

" Everyone has something in common. Our coordinator Sue was amazing, organising everything and keeping everyone updated. "

Vanessa and Craig, 11 - (Cornwall Lodges)

" This was our first Single With Kids trip and we had a fabulous time. Our co-ordinator couldn't have been nicer, she bent over backwards to accommodate peoples’ requests. The best thing was the fun and laughter I had with my fellow house mates and seeing the children bond really well with each other and having such fun. "

Suzanne & Alex 8 - (Cornwall Lodges)

" My son really enjoyed having ready made friends and I enjoyed being in the company of a group of other adults. "

Paula, Jack, 14, and Connor, 3 - (Cornwall Lodges)

" Absolutely loved the holiday. It was great in the evenings when everyone gathered together, kids and all and had a chilled out time. "

Sophia & Zack 10 - (Cornwall Lodges)

" It was great that the kids made friends within minutes of arriving and were able to go off together on site. "

Jo and Daniel, 12 - (Cornwall Lodges)

" The resort was fun to stay at with lots of activities and the accommodation was lovely and well equipped. "

Stuart and Tatum, 11 - (Cornwall Lodges)

" Really enjoyed seeing the kids all playing with each other. It was lovely seeing the kids enjoying themselves and making new friends and meeting new people. I enjoyed meeting like-minded adults. "

Richard and son, - (Pembroke)

" We all had a great time and could not have asked for better people to share our cottage with. The kids enjoyed Folly farm and the swimming pool. It was a great holiday and I liked the fact that we were not being told what to do, so I loved the laid back aspect. "

Sally, Toby, 10, and Leo, 7 - (Menorca)

" A lovely week. We have done lots of things we would never have done on our own. Boys have had a great time and I have been very relaxed with good company. Hopefully the first of many Single With Kids holidays. Thanks to Sarah for bringing the group together and doing a fantastic job all week. "

Simon, Jacob, 9, and Ella, 6 - (Majorca)

" This was one of the best holidays I have ever been on. The management and everything about it was first class. I only wished I had found SWK when you first started. Was going to say going away with SWK has been life changing but do not want you to think I’m going too much over the top - but it has! "

Dawn, Katie, 7 and Eve, 6 - (Norfolk Deepdale)

" Relaxing and easy-going. I felt like a family member from the offset even though the others all knew one another already. The kids thought it was great. Accommodation was ideal and I'll definitely go back to camp. Location and facilities in the area were also ideal, reception helpful and the cafe very friendly. Group size was perfect as we could all easily talk without forming little groups and the kids were manageable. Amanda was a great co-ordinator and made me feel at ease and involved. "

Sarah and Emma - (Majorca)

" We both had a great time, lovely group of people Emma didn't want to leave thought it was 'the best' and made some good friends who she has been emailing which is really nice to see. Good group size to ensure a mixture of people and enough so you didn't need to be stuck with someone who might not have been your cup of tea! "

Claire, Dominic and Zack - (Majorca)

" This holiday was wonderful, it has given me a new lease of life! The thought of traveling with a baby was daunting at first, but now I have done it I feel that I can conquer anything. It was lovely to be in the company of such nice people and it has boosted my confidence levels. I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday fully. The beach party, the day trips out and the evening drinks by the pool really made it for me. My older son made lots of friends and so did I. I will definitely be going away on the next abroad trip. Thanks Chrissie and Richard - love from Claire and the sprogs! "
