We’ll be staying in 4 bedroom Woodland lodges, each with 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. The lodges have an open plan lounge and kitchen and each has their own patio area. We’re well located for the facilities with our lodges close together.

The rooms each hold 2 people only and prices are based on two people sharing. Where possible, and depending on the room types everyone books, we will endeavour to put families together in lodges based on the age/gender of the children.

What's Included

The cost includes accommodation and free use of the swimming pool complex with its slides, waves and jacuzzis. There are over 100 other activities on site which can be pre-booked, these are not included in the cost of the weekend and the price varies according to the activity – there’s everything from ten pin bowling, cycling through to quad biking or archery.

" This was our first SWK holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My son had lots of children to play with and there was so much to do. Met some lovely people. Ready to go home for a rest now! Thank you for everything. Great holiday.

Ali and Sarah 8 - (Center Parcs - Longleat 2018)

" This is the first SWK holiday we have done so I didn’t know what to expect. We have really enjoyed it. Center Parcs is great. We’ve loved the pool and all the activities and I’ve particularly enjoyed having company for both myself and my daughter. The small group of our villa got on well but it was harder to get to meet and know the people in the other villas. Overall a great holiday.

Diane & Scarlet 11, Mimi 9 - (Center Parcs 2016)

" This trip was everything I'd hoped it would be! I'd been to Center Parcs before with my girls on my own several times and although the daytimes are great fun, the evenings are always lonely without adult company. This group holiday was perfect! You can do group activities or your own thing during the day and night. Both myself and the girls really enjoyed meeting new people, sharing a villa with other families and always having something to do. It was a great group, great fun and well organised. "

Gill & Louis 9 - (Center Parcs 2016)

" We had an amazing time at Center Parcs. Louis enjoyed making a den with the other children in the group and the rapids in the swimming pool. Claire our coordinator was great. Would come back again. Thank you "

Mark & Isabelle 7, Madeleine 5 - (Center Parcs 2016)

" Myself and my two children had a fantastic time. This was definitely the best holiday we've had together. Sharing a lodge helped with the workload and everyone got on so well. 10/10 "

Mimi 9 - (Center Parcs 2016)

" My time in Center Parcs was great. We did a lot of swimming and some bowling and some quad biking (I loved that) AND THE BEST THING EVER was the roller skating! "

" My time in Center Parcs was amazing. The swimming was amazing as always, the activities were epic, overall amazing. I hope there is another SWK trip here. "

Liberty 9 - (Center Parcs 2016)

" I really liked the midnight swim and the cycling around everywhere and roller skating, also the shops. It was good when the geese came to our door and bowling and the group and making new friends. Thank you. "

" Finding a way for a single parent holiday with a 5 year old that actually works! Thank you. "

Trevor & Jacob - (Center Parcs)

" Personally I would book every Center Parc break on offer. I could happily vist five /six times a year….What was not to like! Jacob had a great time. I love doing stuff outdoors at the weekend. " Having done Center Parcs before I know how costly the extra activities can be, however the free facilities on offer are absolutely fantastic. "

Kelly & Morgan 12, Olivia 4 - (Center Parcs 2015)

" 'What was the highlight of your holiday?' Seeing the kids have fun with their new friends. Also being able to have a bit of adult company whilst the kids were busy playing. "

Tara and Charlie, 3 - (Center Parcs)

" The highlight of the holiday for us both was the pony riding - was incredibly impressed with the warmth of welcome that we received from the two people working there. Afterwards for my daughter the grand cascade and for me the kayak on the lake, but the bike hire was great too and the scenery great and the accommodation amazing. Nice to be around people - think I would have liked to have less things to do and more time just to relax and chat with the other families. It's good to know you're not alone, and a very relaxed holiday - not over organised but info there when you needed it. My daughter was so sad to leave all her "friends" and keeps asking when we're going back - think she'd like to live in community! "

Jane and Alice, Sophie - (Center Parcs)

" Thank you for such a fantastic holiday! We can’t recommend Center Parcs highly enough – there is something for all ages to enjoy. Well worth the money. Do spend a bit extra and hire bikes – we cycled non-stop all weekend. Brilliant and very friendly co-ordination by Chrissie who made sure everyone was looked after in a non-intrusive way. Center Parcs is a dip in/out type of holiday depending on how much you want to get out of it and the age of your children. It was lovely to do our own thing and then meet up with the group for lunch (the Sunday roast lunch was great). Definitely a nice treat to book some activities. We can’t wait to return "

Sue and Joseph, 8 - (Center Parcs)

" We really had a brilliant time. Meeting new people and being in the same accommodation as other families meant that we had no choice but to get to know each other quickly. I can be a bit shy and keep myself to myself, but the sharing didn't allow me to do that, which was a good thing. The kids took to each other easily and quickly and enjoyed one another's company throughout. There were social events taking place, but I preferred the sharing rather than socialising in a big group. That said, I did meet some lovely people and I realised that it felt really good to talk to people who were going through the same issues as single parents. I can't say I'd particularly noticed myself missing this in my life generally, but when I experienced it, it felt good. This was my first holiday with Single With kids. I tried it because I would really like to do a holiday abroad, but was a big nervous of doing so on my own. Having had such a great time on this short break, I will definitely do it again but travel further afield. Other people had lots of positive things to say about their experiences travelling abroad with SWK. Fun, fun, fun. Happy kids, happy mum! "

Sharon and Oliver - (Center Parcs)

" It was such a fabulous break which went too quick, plenty to do and adult company to have a chat. The children got on well and Oliver says it was the best time ever! Center Parcs was relaxing, waking up and being surounded by trees and a swan tapping on the window for its breakfast was not to be missed. There was so much to do on site spoilt for choice and the pool proved a big hit by all. Thanks Chrissie for organising this event and to the other families who came thankyou it was so good to be part of the weekend with you all. Until next time can’t wait cycling I had not done for quite a while loved it even though a cushion is needed in the right place. Will have to book again…..
So good to have found Single With Kids, prices are reasonable, hurrah for adults too and conversations, you dont feel alone but its ok if you want to do different things on your own – all very flexible, well organised fun laughter, and so much more. Oliver wants to go and live at Centre Parcs, can I come too! See you soon "

Siobhan and Caitlin, Nicole - (Lakes Bunk Barn)

" Thank you for organising this fantastic holiday in an amazing location. Lovely bunch of people, nice relaxing holiday, beautiful location for walks and swimming if desired. Can’t wait to do this again "

Sarah and Rafe, 4 - (Center Parcs)

" Great holiday and a fab coordinator. The highlight? Rafe riding his bike for the first time. "

Kerry and Fergus - (Pembroke)

" The best holiday I have ever had with my son! "

Julie and Amelie, 7 - (Center Parcs)

" Claire was wonderful. She made us all feel welcome without being 'Hi De Hi'! Its lovely to have playmates for my daughter and adults for company in the evenings. "

Sam and Beth - (Pembroke)

" Beth had a fantastic time with new friends. This is a big part of our going away with SWK. She gets friends to play with 24/7 and I get a rest and some adult company. Stunning location with very friendly staff. Great caterers for several nights. So nice to be spared the cooking and delicious food! "
