I love to go to Centre Parcs but it's so expensive. Maybe a group booking would make it cheaper.

I love Centre Parcs, but the cost is very prohibitive. Would be interested to see if making a group booking would make it much cheaper...

Even if 8 people share a 4 bed lodge is £115 per person for a 3 night weekend break, very expensive. :(

Back in my huge disposable income and stupidity days - I once treated my ex (wish I hadn't bothered now!) to a long weekend there.  Admittedly, we had a huge luxury lodge with a sauna etc but it was nearly £600!!!!!!!!

Yes indeed I remember those days too lol.. but also recall the arguments too so going to a cheap one with friends yes is preferable.. sauna on own or in rage or bathroom with hot tap running with friends?  yeah !:)

We used to go with a huge group of friends the first weekend in December, when its cheapest. There's something quite romantic about swimming down a jungle river in the warm, with snow on either side.

Then we had the great power cut, and as a result Center Parcs offered us a free weekend, and we went the first weekend in May. Far from arguments, that's when Tim was conceived!

Ouch! still, realistically, cheaper than lots of other options, so yes we'd be interested

We ran an Adults Only trip to Center Parcs in 2008 and had an absolute ball, we really must repeat it sometime.

Unfortunately even if you're looking at a signifcant number of lodges Center Parcs will not (or would not) give group discounts, this may have changed recently as it's about a year since I last checked but I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

The way we did it was for one person to book the villa, once he or she had collected the money off everyone else. Then you all ask for a villa near some location on the site (preferably somewhere that isn't too popular).

hiya i know nobody has commented on this for a while im abit late to the party, but i would love the idea of going to centre parcs as an adults only break which should bring the price to decent rate especially if people were prepared to share rooms

I'm late to the party too :( but would def consider CP.  Love it with kids or without.  Once you are there you can make it as cheap or as expensive as you like............ :)

Yes I can confirm it hasn't come up on the forum. Perhaps it was organised while the forum was down.

We have / have had 3 Center Parcs trips in the 2011 calendar (funnily enough without any of the posters earlier requesting it) but they've all proven very popular.  We've chosen Nottingham because it's more central and has such a lovely pool complex but we may look at Elveden next year and possibly an alternate summer location.

I will keep a hopeful eye out then!!! The Longleat site would pick up south west/south east bods presumably.
