1. Hit the beach.
North Norfolk has many stunning stretches of beach, including the premier resort known as Mundesley Beach. If you visit Norfolk and the sun happens to be shining, it just has to be a day at the beach!
2. Browse the boutiques.
If it’s shopping you’re after, you’ll have a full day of browsing, buying and lunching ahead of you on the charming streets of towns like North Walsham, Aylsham, and Stalham. There are more quirky boutiques, independent shops, delicious delis, art galleries and cafes than you can shake a stick at – happy shopping!
3. Be amazed at Davenport’s Magic Kingdom.
Another attraction unique to North Norfolk is Davenport’s Magic Kingdom, where visitors are treated to a live magic show as well as access to the largest collection of magic memorabilia anywhere in Europe.
4. Lose yourself (but hopefully not the kids) in BeWILDerwood.
A hugely popular and award-winning Norfolk park, BeWILDerwood in Wroxham gives both single parents and kids the chance to play and imagine together as they explore magical treehouses, build forest dens and even boat across the mysterious Scaaaary Lake. It’s a unique and memorable experience unlike any other.
5. Take a boating tour of the Broads.

To see and do everything at this 100 acre all-weather Norwich attraction would take the whole of your North Norfolk holiday, as there’s a dinosaur trail, secret animal gardens, Neanderthal Walk, play areas and loads more.
9. Take the Poppy Line railway.
This preserved heritage railway, connecting the towns of Sheringham and Holt, is a trip back in time, with some gorgeous scenery along the way.
10. Discover nature at Pensthorpe Natural Park.
This is a fantastic place to get kids involved in nature – with a huge variety of wildlife to spot and a range of activities for all ages, there’s something for everyone.
