A fabulous location for a family holiday, our hotel in Croatia is set within a stunning Mediterranean garden setting. It’s right on the shores of the Babin Kuk peninsula just a few minutes bus journey away from the magic of Dubrovnik’s old quarter.

1. What is the board basis?
This is on an all inclusive Light rate. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Local wines, beer and soft drinks are available free of charge with meal times (no alcohol at breakfast).
2. What is included in the holiday?
The holiday includes flights, transfer to and from the airport in Croatia and 7 nights all inclusive light at the hotel.
3. How big will the group be?
The group size for this holiday has varied massively over the years. Some years we’ve had a group of up to 50 parents and children, some years’ it’s been much smaller at around 22. If you would like an idea of the ages booked up to now, or make up of the group as it stands at any current point in time, please do drop us an email at email@example.com and we can help.
4. Which airports fly out to this holiday
The airport that you fly into is in Dubrovnik. The holiday price is based on flights from London however a number of regional airports now fly into Dubrovnik. Should you wish to use a local airport please do get in touch and we’ll try and find the most convenient option for you.
Occasionally we secure group flights for the holiday, in which case these would usually fly out of London Gatwick.
Please contact us for further information on costs for any of the regional airports. These include – Birmingham and Manchester.
5. When will I receive my tickets?
You will receive your tickets and all other documents between 7 – 10 days before you depart. This will be sent out via email.
There will also be an email with further information – who is on your holiday etc around the same time.
6. What is my baggage allowance?
The baggage allowance will be on your tickets. Each airline is different but unless requested otherwise, there will be a baggage allowance for each member of your party.
7. Does the coordinator meet us at the airport?
The transfer company will be ready for you at the airport, and your coordinator will be waiting for you at the hotel, We ask for you to drop them a text as soon as you’re on your way so they can be ready to greet you.
8. Transfers – what happens when I get to the airport?
The shuttle transfers are available 24 hours a day regardless of flight arrival time. Where possible the holidaymakers on the group flights will be transferred together.
Private transfers are available for this holiday at a supplement, again the transfer company will be ready and waiting for you upon arrival.
All of the details on the transfer will be on your vouchers that are issued with your tickets via email 7 – 10 days before departure – this will also include instructions on how to find your transfer.
The hotel from Dubrovnik airport is approximately 14 miles and is a particularly scenic journey.
9. There is another persons name on my transfer voucher?
This means that that family are on the same transfer as you.
10 Can I add extras on to my flight?
Yes you can. Please contact us for prices.
Please note that any requests for extras (in-flight meals, extra leg room etc) will need to be submitted BEFORE the final balance is paid (12 weeks before your holiday)
1.How big is the hotel?
The hotel complex consists of 338 rooms.
2. What types of rooms are there?
The rooms that we have are twin and family rooms. The twin room holds 2 single beds and a sofa bed and is used for families for 2-3 people. The family room is two twin rooms with interconnecting doors and holds up to 6 people.
3. What facilities do the room have?
All rooms have air conditioning,WiFi access, satellite TV, Safe (charged locally).
4. What is included in the all inclusive light rate?
All inclusive light is all of your meals with drinks at meal times. No snacks or drinks outside of meal times are included but there are a number of bars available.
All meals are served in the restaurant. There is a childrens corner in the restaurant which serves ‘kiddie’ food!
At the snack bars, various snacks including ice creams are available from the pool snack bar and Aperitif bar
5. What facilities are there at the hotel?
There is an outdoor fresh water swimming pool with separate children’s pool, Sun deck and parasols are by the pool.
You will find various sports at the hotel including tennis, beach volley ball, badminton and aqua aerobics!
For an extra charge there are facilities where you can go diving, para-sailing, banana boat rides and horse riding.
The hotel also offer a babysitting service (extra charge)
6. What is there for the Kids?
The hotel has a children’s and teens club for children/ teens who are under 16.
A daily programme of events around the hotel.
Children can go and sit with the animation team for lunch and dinner.
7. What is the beach like and is it near?
The hotel has 3 beaches in close proximity:
Copacabana beach – 150m from the hotel. Pebble beach, with a natural shaded area, beach bar and water activities.
Cava beach – 200m from the hotel. Pebble and rocky beach, natural shaded section and a beach bar.
President beach – 250m from the hotel. paved beach, natural shaded area, water sports and diving centre, beach bar and restaurant.
8. My flight isn’t till the evening, what are my options?
We can contact the hotel to get a price for a late check-out. This all differs on if the room is available for the next day. There is luggage holding facilities.
1. What excursions are there and how much will they cost?
More detailed information on this will be coming soon – this is so that we can give you a better idea of the costs.
These could include a trip to the beach where you can para-sail, go on a banana boat or go on the ‘sofa’, a 3 island tour and a market trip. You can dip in and out of any trips as you wish, and we try and make sure there is a mix of excursions with local, cheap get togethers.
2. What is the currency there?
Craotian Kuna is the currency. Which can be easily changed in the UK.
The currency rate is approximately 1 GBP = 9 HRK
There are currency exchange facilities at the hotel, you will also find some exchange offices within close proximity to the hotel. There are also many ATMs that you can withdraw money from – however please do check with your bank what their charges are.
Travellers cheques can be very hard to exchange in Croatia.
There is an ATM with in walking distance.
3. How much money should I take out with me?
All of your meal time food and drink (as stated above in the all-inclusive light rates) in the hotel complex is included – you will need money for any snacks, any of the excursions that you would like to do and any gifts that you wish to buy.
4. What plug adaptor should I take out with me?
Croatia uses the 2 pin plug that you would find through out Europe.
5. What is the time difference?
The local time in Croatia is GMT + 1
6. What languages are spoken there?
The main language is Croatian however English is widley spoken.
