The beautiful hotel resort is set in an oasis of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops, and a great many leisure activities in the middle of the busy Alcudia Harbour. It is just a few minutes journey to the rustic town of Alcudia, with its Roman ruins and the Albufera Natural Park, a paradise for lovers of ornithology.

The Holiday

1. What is the board basis?

This is on an all inclusive rate.

2. What is included in the holiday?

The holiday includes group flights from London, the transfer to and from the airport in Majorca and 7 nights all inclusive at the hotel.

3. How big will the group be?

The group will be around 18 families on a 7 night holiday.

4. Which airports fly out to this holiday

The airport in Majorca is Palma and is served by many of the airports in the UK. The holiday price is based on flights from London.

Please contact us for further information on costs for any of the regional airports. These include – Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff. Liverpool and Manchester.

5. When will I receive my tickets?

You will receive your tickets and all other documents between 7 – 10 days before you depart. This will be sent out via email.

There will also be an email with further information – who is on your holiday etc around the same time.

6. What is my baggage allowance?

The baggage allowance will be on your tickets. Each airline is different.

7. Does the coordinator meet us at the airport?

With people coming in at different times, the coordinator will meet you in resort.

8. Transfers – what happens when I get to the airport?

The shuttle transfers are available 24 hours a day regardless of flight arrival time. Where possible the holidaymakers on the group flights will be transferred together.

Private transfers are available for this holiday at a supplement – please contact us on for further prices and information on this.
All of the details on the transfer will be on your vouchers that are issued with your tickets via email 7 – 10 days before departure – this will also include instructions on how to find your transfer.

The hotel from Palma airport is approximately 40 miles.

9. There is another person’s name on my transfer voucher?

This means that that family are on the same transfer as you.

10. Can I add extras on to my flight?

Yes you can. Please contact us for prices.

Please note that any requests for extras (in-flight meals, extra leg room etc) will need to be submitted BEFORE the final balance is paid (12 weeks before your holiday)

The Hotel

The Hotel is located in the tourist centre of Playa de Alcudia, very close to the town’s shopping centre, two kilometres from the harbour and just 400 metres from the beautiful beach. This is the perfect family destination. With spacious grounds, fantastic swimming pools, a mini-club and a complete entertainment team, there are a wealth of activities for the whole family to get involved with. For those looking for relaxation there is a spa with a solarium and massage services, while for the more active guests there are tennis courts, aerobic classes and diving boards. Dining options include the sumptuous buffet restaurant and the hotel also boasts elegant landscaped gardens. Guest rooms within the hotel come equipped with all the amenities one could expect from a hotel of its class, including spacious en-suite bathroom.

1. How big is the hotel?

The hotel consists of 260 rooms.

2. What types of rooms are there?

The rooms that we have are twin rooms and also family rooms suitable for families of 4.

There is a possibility that you can upgrade to an apartment which comes equipped with its own Jacuzzi! Please contact us for availability and upgrade prices.

3. What facilities do the room have?

All of the Studio apartments, have private facilities (bath, shower, WC), hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, piped music, kitchenette with fridge, cooking rings, air conditioning, safety deposit box (payable locally) with balcony.
Rooms are cleaned and linen and towels are changed at regular intervals.

4. What is included in the all inclusive rate?

The hotel has a main restaurant where the breakfast and dinner buffets are served along with two themed buffets evenings. There is also a pool bar and lounge bar.

• Lunch served from the pool bar (available from 12.30-15.30)
• Fruit and snacks (available outside meal times from 10.30-23.00)
• Afternoon tea, coffee and cakes (available from the pool bar from 15.30-17.00)
• Unlimited locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available from 10.30-23.30

5. What facilities are there at the hotel?

The hotel boasts beautiful spacious gardens, fantastic outdoor swimming pools, children’s pool and playground, mini-club, multi sport court, and an entertainment team, who are there to entertain and amuse from morning to evening all members of the family.
Children have their own entertainment and will be entertained by Bufo, the galactic hero!! Children are always under the supervision of the entertainers.

For those looking for relaxation there is a spa with a solarium and massage services,
For the more active guests there are various sporting activities (some with charge), tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, shaerobic classes, archery and scuba-diving (payable locally).

Nearby you will find Sailing, snorkelling, golfing facilities.
You will also find a gym equipped with fitness machines, treadmills, spinning bicycles, etc.

Fancy a bike ride – well you can hire a bike for a fee from reception.

Swimming Pools

Pirate Ship pool: the little ones’ favourite spot, a shallow pool with maximum safety measures. Surrounded by deckchairs so you can rest while the kiddies plunge into a world of adventures.

Open-air pool: a fantastic large pool with a sunbathing area, deckchairs, a space to chat, read and soak up the Mediterranean sun!

There is a daily entertainment programme and sports programme.

Other services that are at the hotel include – 24-hour reception, currency exchange, local information including excursions and international newspapers (local charge)

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel!!

6. What is there for the Kids?

The children have their own pool, a pirate ship splash park, multisports activity area, bouncy castle and many activities that are put on by the hotel’s entertainment team!

7. What is the beach like and is it near?

The beach is approximately 10 minutes, 600m away from the hotel. The beach is a 6km white sandy beach with blue waters perfect for a swim!!

8. My flight isn’t till the evening, what are my options?

We can contact the hotel to get a price for a late check-out. This all differs on if the room is available for the next day. The hotel does have luggage holding facilities.

The Resort

The holiday resort of Port d’Alcudia is situated in the north of Mallorca at the top of a long curving bay with an endless white sandy beach. It is two miles (3km) south of the historical old town of Alcudia, from which it takes its name. The sprawling, purpose-built resort, together with its neighbour Playa de Muro, stretches for five miles (8km) either side of the coast road. It has a fairly relaxed atmosphere; its spectacular beach is the major attraction, though it is also well placed for exploring the attractions around the north of the island.

1. What excursions are there and how much will they cost?

More detailed information on this will be coming soon – this is so that we can give you a better idea of the costs.
The excursions could include a trip to the waterpark, a boat ride on a glass bottom boat, market trip, visit to the Roman ruins and of cause a beach day on the gorgeous white sandy beach!

2. What is the currency there?

Euro is the currency. Which is readily available!

The currency rate is changes often – so you are best looking at this closer to the time.

There are currency exchange facilities at the hotel, you will also find some exchange offices within close proximity to the hotel. There are also many ATMs that you can withdraw money from – however please do check with your bank what their charges are.

3. How much money should I take out with me?

All of your food and drink (as stated above in the all-inclusive rates) in the hotel complex is included – you will need money for any of the excursions that you would like to do and any gifts that you wish to buy.

4. What plug adaptor should I take out with me?

Majorca uses the 2 pin plug that you would find throughout Europe.

5. What is the time difference?

The local time in Alcudia is GMT + 1

6. What languages are spoken there?

The main language is Spanish however English is widely spoken! Most of the staff at the hotel are multilingual so there shouldn’t be a language barrier.
