Single Parents Go Camping!
Camping UK – Everything you need to know about camping for single parents…
At Single With Kids, any old excuse to get out our tents and go camping is fine with us! There are so many beautiful locations in the UK which beg to be seen from the eyes of a camper. Camping and Glamping is where Single With Kids began, and over the years we have tried and tested many camp sites all over the country. Now, 7 years on, we are delighted to have the largest range of camping holidays in the UK for single parents.
Single With Kids Take Over
Our UK camping trips for single parents entice anywhere up to 40 single parent families, which means there can be up to 100 mums, dads and kids dominating our own ‘Single With Kids’ area of the campsite. There is something about relaxing in the great outdoors with like-minded company that we can’t get enough of. And with so many eyes around to keep watch, you can rest easier knowing your child is safe playing with new found friends.
Don’t break the bank
We feel that no-one should have to miss out on the opportunity to get away with their kids. That’s why our weekend camping UK holidays start from just £40 for up to four people! Camping doesn’t have to be an expensive deal, read our Camping on a Budget blog posts to pick up some great money saving tips. You can also have a look at our Camping Checklist | What to Take Camping With Kids blog post for ideas of what you could have missed from your own camping checklist, be sure to comment if you notice anything we missed.
Where to Go Camping with Kids?
So you know you want to take your brood on an outdoor adventure, next is choosing where to go…
There are a few things to think about before you go ahead and book your camping UK trip. But don’t worry, we’ve broken it down so you can find out exactly what to expect from your single parent holiday.
When to Go Camping?
For many of us the weekend is the only time we get to let our hair down properly, with busy weeks full of school runs and work dramas it’s no wonder we want to make the most of our free time. That’s why almost all of our camping trips are held over a weekend, so there’s is no need to plan any time off work; you can just pack up your car and go camping.
You might want to think about the time of year for your UK camping holiday, we have trips in May, June and August. Or you can view the calendar for a full list of our holiday dates.
Camping UK – Travelling to the Site.
Next, how will you get there? Many of our single parents drive to the camp site, but some take the train or a coach. On each holiday page you will find a Google map at the bottom indicating the camp site, so you can find out just how far you are from them and can begin to organise your travel arrangements.
