Our Cornish Summer break offers great value to single parents families. Enjoy a traditional seaside holiday in a beautiful unspoilt location on the coast and make new friends.
A fabulous location with accommodation overlooking the sea, and with a whole host of attractions, local towns and beaches this holiday has something for all.
On the Coast of West Cornwall, is the small, unspoilt fishing village of Coverack. Sitting on the edge of the Lizard Peninsula this charming village and quiet harbour provide the perfect place to get away from it all. The crescent-shaped beach is sheltered and sandy making it ideal for families. This also means it is great for swimming and watersports such as windsurfing and scuba diving. There is also easy access to the beach from the village car park. Breathtaking views can be found along the coastal walks in the area including a short stroll to the harbour. Here the local fishing boats and pleasure boats shelter within the harbour built out of the local green serpentine rock. There are also shops and cafe’s to relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful views.
Although Coverack is a tranquil retreat there are plenty of great attractions in the local area. Nature lovers will enjoy the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary, Camel Centre and Trebah Gardens. Flambard’s theme park is always a winner, with rides and entertainment for all ages, whilst Pendennis Castle with its interactive displays bring a touch of history to your Cornwall holiday. And of course there are a wide number of beaches and local towns to explore.
A great location near Falmouth, Cornwall the postcode for sat navs is TR12 6SA. Parking is available in the main carpark next to the orchard.
The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Falmouth with regular trains. To check directions by public transport, we recommend using the website www.traveline.info or click on the little Google map to the right.

This is a new addition to our value breaks but you can read what our holidaymakers had to say about our other Cornish breaks
" It's brilliant. Safe for kids who make loads of friends and allows parents adult time without angst. The group activities are also great.
" Its brilliant as everyone has something in common we are all single with kids, kids get on easily with other kids and parents get to talk, spend time with a socialise with other adults. It was my first time in Cornwall as an adult and I thought it was lovely, I normally go abroad but would definitely return here instead of a holiday abroad. Highlight was seeing my child happy having fun with the other kids. "
" There is something for both parents and children to do. "
" Everyone has something in common. Our coordinator Sue was amazing, organising everything and keeping everyone updated. "
" This was our first Single With Kids trip and we had a fabulous time. Our co-ordinator couldn't have been nicer, she bent over backwards to accommodate peoples’ requests. The best thing was the fun and laughter I had with my fellow house mates and seeing the children bond really well with each other and having such fun. "
" Absolutely loved the holiday. It was great in the evenings when everyone gathered together, kids and all and had a chilled out time "
" It was great that the kids made friends within minutes of arriving and were able to go off together on site. "
" Really enjoyed seeing the kids all playing with each other. It was lovely seeing the kids enjoying themselves and making new friends and meeting new people. I enjoyed meeting like-minded adults "
